On May 17, 2021, the way you analyze data in KnowledgeHound will get a big makeover and upgrade. This will also mark the retirement of the existing analysis page. Meaning, the existing analysis page you are used to will no longer exist.

We understand that the core of KnowledgeHound is built upon uncovering valuable insights via survey analysis and thus, understand that big upgrades can sometimes be jarring. Thankfully we're here to help you anticipate what is coming and get you excited about all the new functionality you will have at your fingertips.

Here is what you need to know about Analysis 2.0.

When will I see Analysis 2.0 in KnowledgeHound?

All customers will have access to Analysis 2.0 starting Monday, May 17, 2021.

What is happening to the analysis page I am used to?

The existing analysis page is being retired. This means you will no longer have access to the page.

What happens to all of my links, favorites, Stories, and dashboard charts?

Nothing at all! All of your existing links, Story items, charts will all remain exactly how you remember them. No need to do anything.

What happens when I click a link or a search result to view a data point?

Starting Monday, May 17, 2021, all of the search result links and view original links will take you to the new analysis page. All of the chart data will remain intact and unaltered. The only difference will be the overall UI of the page.

How is the new analysis experience different than the current one?

Great question and in many ways, it's the same. You can still add cross-tabs, filters, and get stat testing to run automatically. Analysis 2.0 is far more powerful with how much data it can handle and how fast it can render charts. In addition, we've completely revamped the UI to be more flexible and smart. A chart builder on the left allows you to easily add, nest, and move variables, while the powerful visualization engine continually renders your visuals on the fly as you work.

What if I don't like the new experience and want to go back to the old one?

Unfortunately, there will not be a way back to the old way of analyzing data in KnowledgeHound. That said, we welcome everyone to share their feedback with us and we ensure you that all feedback is used to continue making KnowledgeHound the best search-based analysis tool for our customers. Our job is to help you get your jobs done.
